Gameplay: Pokémon Royal Sapphire is a full overhaul of the original Game Boy Advance classic, keeping the core Gen 3 mechanics intact while completely reworking the experience around them. The story follows a familiar path through Hoenn but is heavily expanded, with a much stronger focus on Team Aqua and their ambitions. Every route, encounter, and trainer has been redesigned to create a more challenging and engaging playthrough, closer in difficulty to well-known enhancement hacks. Battles require more thought, teams are more refined, and progression feels tighter from start to finish, while still keeping that original Ruby/Sapphire feel.
